Bones of baby dolls~ porcelain doll arm &clear quartz crystal Tiffany Technique necklace~

This necklace was created through the method called Tiffany technique a stained glass method developed in 1870 by Louis Comfort Tiffany.
The metalwork is done directly onto each crystal,stone etc.. using layers of silver, lead-free solder over copper and silver wirework.

A antique porcelain doll arm topped with a clear quartz crystal point & wrapped in a band of my handdone molten metal work(sterling silver,tin and copper)

All handdone metal work has been darkened to a somber gray to give it an antiqued and ancient look.

The piece was then polished and sealed with jewelry wax and finally sealed with a lacquer to protect the patina overtime.

Suspended from a 18 inch gun metal chain with a lobster hook necklace closure.
