Handcrafted Crystal ball Tiffany technique necklace ~

This necklace was created through the method called Tiffany technique a stained glass method developed in 1870 by Louis Comfort Tiffany.
The metalwork is done directly onto each crystal,stone etc.. using layers of silver, lead-free solder over copper and silver wirework.

These beautiful quartz crystal sphere’s are full of shimmering rainbows.

framed  in my hand done molten metalwork bound with my molten metals (sterling silver,tin and copper 
And darkened to a somber grey through oxidation to give iit an antiqued ancient look then polished and sealed with jewelry wax.

  
These crystal necklace hang on a 28” stainless steel rollo  chain.
