As a silversmith, there's nothing I enjoy more than pouring my heart and soul into a piece that tells a story, and this Raven's Requiem necklace is certainly one of them. Each detail has been meticulously fabricated and finished by my own hands, right here in my studio.
Inspired by the quiet dignity of ancient cathedrals and the timeless symbolism of the raven and skull, this pendant truly feels like a wearable piece of art.
The centerpiece is a substantial sterling silver plaque, shaped like a gothic cathedral window, complete with delicate quatrefoil cutouts that invite the light through. Perched majestically atop a hauntingly beautiful skull, a watchful raven surveys its domain, its form rendered with intricate detail down to each feather.
But the true magic, for me, lies beneath. Suspended from the bottom of the "window" is a captivating, faceted rainbow moonstone droplet. This isn't just any stone – as you move, you'll catch flashes of ethereal blue and subtle iridescence, just like moonlight on a midnight pond. It's a stone of intuition and new beginnings, beautifully complementing the more grounded symbolism of the raven and skull.
